Schedule

The 2020 IMFC announcement of placements and results will be done in three stages:

  • on May 1, 2020: all classes in the Festival Division except piano concerti and the Concerto Competition will be published on InterMusic.ca/winners;
  • on June 15, 2020: piano concerti classes in the Festival Division and the Concerto Competition will be published on InterMusic.ca/winners
  • by June 30, 2020: competitors will receive in the mail official written evaluations for each performance, signed by the designated Juror and by the IMFC Artistic Director, a Medallion, a Certificate, and the IMFC 2020 poster. Competitors who have booked tickets for the Award Ceremony will also receive a charitable donation receipt for the full amount.

AWARD CEREMONY AND GALA CONCERT

Friday, May 14, 2021 at 8 p.m.
Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts

In 2021, competitors will receive marks and written comments from the judges immediately after the end of the last performance in their class. However, all prizes, awards, certificates, trophies, medallions and scholarship winners will be announced and presented at the Awards Ceremony. Each competitor is entitled to one complimentary ticket to the Awards Ceremony. Additional tickets can be purchased through the IMFC website.
